GRASSES
Elevated from competing
with the normal perennial flower border, grasses are now used
in sweeps of the same, or allied sorts; as underplanting,
or perhaps groups or even individuals in gravel areas.
Many flower, the effect, like spun gold. Altogether they provide
a wonderful elegance.

An extremely elegant "pampas grass" fine silver

Very attractive gold variegated foliage. Grass like, perennial

HELICTOTRICHON sempervirens

One of the best of the blue grasses, elegant stems reaching

Graceful golden grass. Reaching around 16" a delightful

Light'
Slender grey foliage. Very graceful reaches 3' Sun.
