SHRUBS
The woody backbone to the garden, giving height and structure
with a variety of foliage shapes, both evergreen and deciduous.
Shrubs can be found to flower at every month of the year,
even in the depth of winter. Flowers can be showy or more
subtle and may even be scented. Some shrubs making impressive
individual specimens or can be arranged in groups. Altogether
they make an indispensable contribution to the garden scene.
As a price guide 1 litre pots are from £4.00 and 2 litre
pots £6.00. Rarer plants and less common forms are priced
individually. The heights given refer to plants in garden
cultivation with appropriate pruning. The origin and date
of introduction is given where known, some forms however are
a product of Horticulture denoted by Hort. and have been raised
in gardens.

Rose pink mallow like flowers from May to September. For tubs,

form of colvilei, grown at Kew, which was introduced from
